An overview of our debut project, Word by Word Presents,
supported using public funding from Arts Council England and the National Lottery.
The Project
Word by Word Presents was an 18-month project designed to promote all forms of creative writing, through 12 workshops, 2 Zine publications and 2 collaborative events.​
Workshops were held in London's Shepherd's Bush and online. The workshops were intended for new emerging and established writers, with a particular focus on black, brown and QTIPOC folk.

Our Collaborators
12 Workshops
Based in London's Bush Theatre, Delina Kitchen and online, these engaged with a variety of writing styles and techniques. Tickets were bought on a Pay as You Feel Basis for all participants, with the aim of making them accessible as possible.

Zine I: Rebirth

Our debut publication, comprised of multiple writings from members of Word by Word collective. Zine I is a showcase of writings, poetry and accompanying illustrations all surrounding the notion of 'Rebirth'.

Curated by Indiana Lawrence, with cover designed by Sharp Txngue, this is a collection of work birthed from many workshop participants and facilitators of the Word by Word Presents series.
